Restorative Services

Total Replacement

Full dentures are a total replacement of all of your upper teeth, lower teeth, or all of your teeth with a removable set of teeth. Dentures are usually put in place when tooth decay or damage becomes so severe that saving existing teeth becomes hopeless.

There are several types of dentures available:

  • Complete – these replace all teeth
  • Partial – for those that still have healthy teeth and only need a section replaced
  • Immediate – these are inserted immediately after the removal of your teeth
  • Overdenture – removable dentures that fit over a small number of remaining natural teeth Implant
  • Retained – dentures held in place with the use of implants; a great alternative from removable dentures

Post Dentures

Having dentures will require follow up appointments, especially during the first year. These appointments are so the dentures can be adjusted and cleaned. Dentures do not last a lifetime; their functional life is about 7 years. After that, they should be replaced to avoid any discomfort.
