Dr. Daniel Derksen
DENTIST
Dr. Daniel Derksen grew up in the town of Bath, Michigan where he still lives with his family. After graduating from the University of Michigan Dental School he and his wife returned to the area to be near family and friends. After initially practicing dentistry in East Lansing for many years, Dr. Derksen was thankful for the opportunity to take over for Dr. James Gallagher’s Lansing dental services in the fall of 2012.
Lori
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Lori has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 1983 and has enjoyed working directly with Dr. Derksen since 2008. She really loves assisting and strives to provide the best care for her patients. Lori grew up in Okemos but now lives near Grand Ledge with her husband Craig. She enjoys spending time with her family, she has two daughters, a son-in-law and her first grandchild was born in August 2020, being a Grandma is the best! Lori loves music, reading and is an avid sports fan.
Jamie
DENTAL HYGENIEST
Jamie has been in the dental field since 2003 and has been a hygienist since 2013. She has been married to her partner since 2011 and has two extremely cute daughters. With her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family, watching family movies with her kids, and cooking. She loves being a Dental Hygienist and helping her patients keep their mouth healthy.
Jordan
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Joined Derksen Dentistry in 2019 to gain experience before exploring the dental hygiene program. She is currently an assistant with our office. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her fiancé Joey, her son Jesse, and her Rottweiler Oso, boating, traveling and yoga.
Mackenzie
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Mackenzie graduated from assisting school in 2014 and has been actively assisting since. She joined Derksen Dentistry’s team in 2019. When not at work, Mackenzie can be found volunteering with the St. Charles Haunted House Association as their treasurer. In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys going to car shows with her husband, spending time with friends and family, and visiting her family cabin in the UP. Her hobbies include collecting vintage teacups, fishing, and cross-stitch.
