Meet Dr. Daniel Derksen
Dr. Derksen is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Michigan Dental Association.
Daniel regularly participates in continued education to keep his knowledge and skills up to date. He continually makes upgrades and improvements at the office as well, such as a computerized office system to expedite services and a new x-ray pan machine.
Dr. Daniel Derksen grew up in the town of Bath, Michigan where he still lives with his family. After graduating with honors and playing football at Kalamazoo College, he finished at the top of his dental class at the University of Michigan Dental School. He was inducted into the OKU dental honors society, in which he still participates. Once Dr. Derksen was finished in Ann Arbor, he and his wife returned to the area to be near family and friends. After initially practicing dentistry in East Lansing for many years, Dr. Derksen was thankful for the opportunity to take over for Dr. James Gallagher’s Lansing dental services in the fall of 2012.
